Green Mountain Habitat for Humanity

Green Mountain Habitat for Humanity is the largest of the six Habitat for Humanity International affiliates in Vermont. Since 1984, Green Mountain Habitat has been serving low income, hardworking Vermont families throughout Northwest Vermont by helping them achieve their dream of affordable homeownership. Together with our partner families and hundreds of community volunteers, we build safe, affordable, and energy-efficient homes. Families are actively building their homes alongside trained staff and volunteers, and then purchase these homes at cost. Our three ReStores also help offset the cost of building our Habitat homes by the donations received and purchased by the community. We are not funded by Habitat for Humanity International and must raise all funds locally.
