Black River Innovation Campus (BRIC)

Black River Innovation Campus is a non-profit designed to empower, inspire, and support rural Vermont through technology and entrepreneurship. BRIC provides business incubation for early stage tech start-ups, local co-working space, and collaborates with teachers and students in the region to empower technology exploration. Actuator is BRIC’s entrepreneurial technology incubator program designed to get your business concept ready to launch with a 10-week focused curriculum. Actuator is designed to not only position your business for a great launch but provide you with a suite of tools and insights to build a “founders mindset” for a lifetime of entrepreneurship. This includes exposure to a number of different business models, our tech transfer NASA partnership, and the skills to connect within your community and support a start-up ecosystem. Participation in Actuator comes with free access to BRIC’s Lifestyle Curriculum: a series of activities and adventures designed to take advantage of Vermont’s unique and beautiful start-up ecosystem, giving you a chance to connect in-person with your cohort, mentors, and the growing BRIC community.
