HANDS & Sweet Basil Cards

HANDS is a nonprofit whose goal is to fill gaps in getting food to older adults, 50 years and over, who are low-income. Our newest program, "Diverse Pantry", strives to get culturally-appropriate food to seniors in our BIPOC and immigrant communities. We collaborate with Feeding Chittenden and local African farmers among others. In addition, we provide grocery cards for 1,500 older adults during the holiday season and offer "HANDS in the Kitchen" nutrition education workshops.
