Since 1936, this consumer-owned business has established fair and equitable partnerships with local farmers and food producers, and in turn, sell more than $13, million worth of their products. From its founding by 17 families to its current status as the second-largest food co-op in the United States, our Co-op has grown by doing well in the communities it serves. More than 22,000 people call the Co-op their own. The Hanover Co-op employs 370 local residents and is committed to offering benefits such as healthcare, dental, tuition reimbursement, and retirement options for our employees.
